Not what is said on the tin? With REFORM UK having some success in Wales during the 2024 General Election, and Nigel Farage telling us he will democratize the party…will it then cease to be a Limited Company with him now the largest shareholder? Or will it just be another party trick (sic).

With over 75,000 members and an annual fee of £25 it brings in circa 1.9 million each year…but where does all this go to?

No doubt Nigel brought REFORM UK through the election, but prior to that the party survived with people such has Richard Tice who was pushed aside ignominiously, and Ben Habid because he actually was a better performer…and historically you cannot be allowed to out perform Nigel!

Reform in Wales, kill democracy?

This is the moment when another wound was delivered to democracy in Wales!  Three independent councillors de-camped to Reform UK , this after standing by during the election to see how the party did? In fact the party did very well with 7,854 votes and 22% coming second beating the Tories.

Now they desert those in Llantarnam with a promise of being the candidates for the election to the Senedd...all this was hatched during the General Election while the candidate was still on the campaign trail  Et Tu Brute.

How can we now trust Reform UK???

Too much governance? For Nation of 3.1 million people...we have so much of our money being spent on unnecessary governance? Our councils employ over 140,000 people. That means around 1 in 9 of the total Welsh workforces is directly employed in delivering the services they say they need. On top of the 22 Local Authorities (councils) we also have another tier called the Welsh Local Government Assoc the (WLGA). We also have Community/Town Councils to the tune of 700 Yes! Your eyes are not playing tricks...it is 700!

Stop the boats?  "As cabinet ministers and law enforcement teams were meeting to discuss ways to enact the prime minister's pledge to "smash the gangs", in a flat in Manchester Hassan was bathing a kitten he's adopted since being granted asylum in Britain  .life here is much more easy than the other countries. And you can find a beautiful life in here and work", he says, adding "even the government is helping the refugees here much better than the other countries".

He says there are "plenty" of gangs, adding "they all have contact with each other". And he says he understands why offering people like him a future in the UK is such big business.

He thinks a crackdown on gangs might reduce the number of crossings but believes there will always be other smugglers willing to take the place of those arrested.

Our way of life is being destroyed, whilst politicians navel gaze!!!

Ruining Welsh farming: This man played a large part  in destroying the farming community in Wales!  His doctrine of following the global agenda with his re-wilding pals and buying up farmland to plant trees is beyond belief.

A year ago there were whispers that land was being bought up by big business to plant trees and 'offset' their carbon emissions. They have grown into deafening yells over the past twelve months, and now dominate discussions within the farming industry.

Earlier this year, ministers purchased land at Brownhill near Llangadog in Carmarthenshire, to plant the first of three commemorative woodlands in memory of those who died from coronavirus. That prompted campaign group the Countryside Alliance to submit a Freedom of Information Request on how much farmland the Welsh Government had bought up.

They have now shown those figures exclusively to ITV Cymru Wales, and they reveal that since 2019, more than six million pounds of public money has been spent on purchasing land for woodland creation purposes. That figure includes four million pounds that the Economy Minister Vaughan Gething confirmed had been spent last week buying Gilestone Farm in Talybont-on-Usk to "safeguard the future" of the Green Man music festival. Even though that festival now takes place on the Glanusk Estate for the future...see how they lie to us?

"We simply cannot stand by and allow prime agricultural land in Wales to disappear. Doing so risks destroying generations of vital farming heritage. Rightly, we are talking more and more about food security and the need for self-dependency, but this will be hampered if there is less land for farming to take place.

"Clearly, there needs to be balance and while tree planting does bring benefits, future projects need to be considered alongside the potential impact on local communities and the ability to produce food here in Wales.
